What is the Chamampi Route?
The Chamampi Route takes you deep into the world’s largest salt flat, offering a unique way to experience the natural beauty of Uyuni.
Surrounded by more than 14,000 km² of extraordinary landscapes, you’ll discover a different perspective of the Salar while exploring its wildlife, native flora and surreal scenery.
Along the journey, you’ll also discover historic locomotives that once operated during Bolivia’s industrial era and visit some of the Salar’s most iconic attractions.
Chamampi means “the beginning with strength” in the Aymara language, representing the beginning of a new and powerful experience across the Bolivian Altiplano.
