WHAT IS THE ENCHANTED CITY ROUTE?
The Enchanted City Route is one of Uyuni’s most fascinating hiking experiences, taking you through ancient geological formations shaped by millions of years of erosion.
This 6 km adventure combines hiking, geology, photography and nature in a remarkable high-altitude landscape. Along the route, you’ll discover unusual rock formations, narrow passages and spectacular viewpoints while learning about the geology and ecosystem of the Bolivian highlands.
The trail can be explored in different sections according to the group’s experience and conditions, offering a challenging journey through one of the region’s most extraordinary natural environments.

TOUR ITINERARY

7:30 am – Departure from Uyuni
Depart early from Uyuni and travel toward the Enchanted City through the landscapes of the Bolivian highlands. -
10:00 am – Arrival at the Enchanted City
Easy Section — Accessible terrain and geological formations.
Intermediate Section — More varied terrain with excellent photography opportunities.
Difficult Section — Narrow passages and more challenging terrain for experienced hikers. -
2:00 pm – Lunch Break
Take a break surrounded by the highland landscape before continuing the experience. -
Afternoon — Final Exploration & Return
Continue discovering new formations and viewpoints. After the final segment, begin the return trip to Uyuni with unforgettable memories and unique photographs.
WHO IS THIS EXPERIENCE FOR?
